hi, we're still alive.
we're working on the new album.

also, these 3 releases:

* Claire Echo : Glare/Halo EP 12" record
* Club AC30 : Never Lose That Feeling, volume #2 CD
* Diesel Combustible : Ode to Roger CD

... were supposed to come out in january.
they are still MIA, totally out of our control.

we're also playing our first show
of the year: Thursday April 6th 2006
@ Zaphod Beeblebrox, 27 York St. Ottawa
w/ Design of Cities + A Dying Breed, 6$.

also, i'm making this community public, because it's boring.
so if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, it could be discussed.
but official news (like these) comes from me or another member of the band.

oh yeah, & add us to your myspace: http://www.myspace.com/destroyalldreamers

and check our side-projects:

DESTROYALLDREAMERS
A Coeur Léger Sommeil Sanglant - Where Are My

Yet another intriguing, nuanced album created in Montreal, this is Destroyalldreamers' first full-lenght. And what a powerful debut it is. This Quebecois band plays a strain of instrumental, atmospheric post-rock/shoegazing music. Guitarists Eric Quach and Mathieu Grisé create an echoey, layered interplay of tonalities that hover and shimmer. Their use of reverb and delay create slow, mesmerizing drifts of melody, Michèle Martin's solid bass lines and Shaun Doré's fluid drumming keep the music from floating away into the stratosphere. Each song lcreates its own mood and the band sometimes wisely contrasts full-on guitar space-outs with quieter, more reflective passages. This compelling record is reminiscent of Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky, while the resonating, ambient guitar tones could also be likened to those of Slowdive or Air Formation. The gorgeous, glacial track "Facultatives Imaginaires, en Robes et en Éclats" is elegant and stately with its reverberating, chorused, Cocteau-Twins-esque grandeur. Yet the music shouldn't be thought of as pure bliss or escapism, since in some songs, the minor moods and sonic torsions can create a pensive melancholy or introspective mood. The pathos of the music could almost remind one of Romantic-era classical music, in its impressions of emotional turmoil and dynamism. Very impressive stuff from a young band. "(...)As a whole, À Coeur Léger Sommeil Sangiant is a breathtaking, near-orgasmic sonic experience; it's heady music for troubled times, and I've yet to hear a record this year that's quite as grand as this. For those of you seeking solace from the heat of the summer or the stresses of the world, there's no better escape from this world than this record. À Coeur Léger Sommeil Sangiant is hands-down one of the best debut albums I've heard in ages.

4th act Charles Spearin (Do Make Say Think, Broken Social Scene, Valley of the Giant) has been confirmed for the London Show, Febuary 24th @ Call The Office. He'll be performing a rare solo show with loops and such - I am only assuming but I would guess he'll be playin bass, horns, synth, and anything he can get his hands on.

here are some individual posters for the Hamilton (Febuary 25th) & Toronto (Febuary 26th) shows:
